Do I need an account to use BusPing?
No. You can search routes and send basic passenger reports without creating an account. A profile is optional and only needed for saved routes, proof logs, and commute alerts.
Do I have to share my location?
No. Location is optional. Enabling it helps show nearby stops and routes faster, but you can always search manually by typing a route number or stop name. You can control location access in your device settings at any time.
Are reports anonymous?
Community reports are displayed anonymously. Your name and account details are never shown publicly with a report. Please do not include personal information about other people in any report notes.
How do I flag an incorrect ping?
Use the "Flag incorrect ping" option on any community report card. We may review flagged reports and remove or limit incorrect or abusive submissions. Thank you for helping keep BusPing accurate.
How do ads work in BusPing?
BusPing is free and supported by clearly labelled local sponsored placements. Sponsored cards come from local businesses and are always clearly labelled so passengers know when they are seeing paid content.
How can a business advertise on BusPing?
Local businesses can enquire about sponsored placements on our Advertise page or by emailing advertising@busping.co.uk.
How do I request data deletion or privacy help?
Email support@busping.co.uk with the subject line "Privacy request" and we will respond in line with our obligations under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law. See our Privacy Policy for full details of your rights.

Is BusPing an official transport provider?
No. BusPing is a passenger-powered reliability layer and is not affiliated with any bus operator, transport authority, or timetable provider. Always check official travel information for important journeys. Community reports may be inaccurate or unavailable.
The app crashed or something isn't working.
